The Fund had a target corpus of US$ 750 mn but managed to raise US$ 895 mn during difficult market conditions during 2008. The Fund will primarily invest in high-growth real estate assets across India. The Fund seeks to provide its investors with a return in excess of 25% IRR and will invest primarily in office, residential, retail, hospitality and mixed-use properties that will attract quality customers/ end users.

IIML has advised 24 investments for the Fund till date and aims to capitalize on opportunities in re-development projects (e.g., rehabilitation of urban sites), Adaptive re-use of Industrial land, Ground-up development projects, Asset buyouts, Industrial Park and the other successful strategies of the Fund I.

The Fund once again has attracted high quality investors as well as large commitments, with individual investors committing in excess of US$ 100 mn in certain instances, thus reaffirming their faith in IIML's fund management expertise.
